BRAINY is a robust, standalone ADA-accessible kiosk complete with 17” touchscreen monitor, industrial keyboard and graphical user interface powered by LaptopsAnytime. BRAINY is easy-to-use and can be placed anywhere in your facility with 110V outlet and Ethernet.

 

BRAINY presents an easy to use, step-by-step, graphical user interface under an unlimited usage model. The system authenticates to local Integrated Library Systems via SIP-2 so that libraries can set age constraints, e.g. children versus teens versus adults. It also allows for choice of select AI applications and when user sessions are complete, users can email their work to their personal email account via BRAINY’s interface.

 

Libraries purchase BRAINY kiosks along with a mandatory software and maintenance package. The service automatically covers ongoing and unlimited paid subscriptions to AI applications including ChatGPT Plus which provides access to ChatGPT-4, faster response times and priority access to new features andimprovements (compared to the free version that only provides info up to 2020) and DALL*E2 for AI Photo Creation. Additionally, new AI tools will be added over time in collaboration with library professionals.
